I am currently in Colorado Springs taking a breather from Cali and dealing with some things that have been thrown my way. I've been here for 8 days now and today I went and spent some time by myself and with my Savior. I started reading this book called "The Gift of Being Yourself" and through it I am learning that if I do not know and understand the self, I truly do not know or understand God. A big part of being a Christian is learning to experience God because by experiencing Him and the things He is capable of, we learn what it is like to feel His presence and see Him in our lives. It is not always easy seeing God in my life, but I am learning to look for Him. I'm sure as it goes on, the process becomes easier.
