Ali & Michael

My sweet friend Ali sent me a message a few weeks ago asking to take photos of her and her boyfriend Michael. So off we went to Old Town Yorba Linda for a shoot! I had fun with them despite the strange heat after a few days of rain, and on top of that being very hungry :-P It was definitely fun scouting the area for unique places to take pictures. These two are so cute and I loved that every time Ali would look seriously at Michael she would just start giggling. So adorable. Enjoy!

Kuester (and Elder) Family Pictures!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photograph some of my extended family, family pictures! We went down to Corona Del Mar and despite the large crowds there for a car show, we managed to get some precious pictures in. The weather was gorgeous and perfect for pictures! It was so fun spending a few hours with them and getting to know them more. My cousins Chad and Heather recently had their second child named Jeffrey and he is the cutest most calm baby I'd ever been around. His older sister Annabella was loving being in pictures and climbing around with us! Thanks you guys for a wonderful evening and for asking me to do your photos!! I was honored =-)

An Old Friend

Last weekend I was house sitting and the family had this amazing sky light in their living room. Lets just say it was my inspiration.

Discouraged

Its been really hard for me lately as a photographer. It is honestly a passion of mine, but I've been feeling so inadequate about it for the past few weeks. For one: I know the economy sucks and no one wants to pay for photography, for two: its difficult when you have so many other friends who are photographers as well, for three: photography is an expensive business, and I have no money (nor am I making any), to improve my skills, whether it be in jobs or buying new equipment. I know I'm young with little experience, but I do have some. I've been quite discouraged and at points, about ready to give up on it all, and I hate feeling that way. I have been blessed with a gift and who am I to trash it? I just need something to boost my confidence.

Global Freedom

My church has recently decided to start a movement titled Global Freedom. This movement involves our church raising 23 million dollars over the next 3 years. All that money will go towards things that will better our community and help free an oppressed group of people in India called the Dahlits. Every family/person was asked to participate in some way (mostly financially) to help this process. The Lord called me to give up 50% of what I make in my photo shoots. I want you to know, if you decide to use me as a photographer that half of what you pay me will go right to my church in order to take part in this huge movement. I would be so honored if you chose to use me because I know that it would be taking my God-given talent and giving it right back to Him. This is such an exciting thing to take part in and I cannot wait to see the outcome of it all!!!
